As I embark on my career as a teacher, I am thrilled to highlight my belief in the immense value of arts integration. Through my life experiences, education, and practica, I have evolved into a reflective and capable educator, and I am excited to incorporate the arts into my teaching philosophy. I believe that arts integration is a crucial component in enhancing students’ learning experiences, and I am confident that my qualifications make me well-suited for a TTOC:
- Visual and Performing Artist
- Experience teaching a variety of Art, Theatre, Dance and Fitness to students of all ages
- Boundless energy and an upbeat personality
- Classroom management and improvisational skills
- Theoretical and practical application of with the Revised BC Curriculum
- Arts integration within all subjects
- Experience with Universal Design for Learning and Differentiated Instruction
- Experience with formative and summative assessment practices
With over a decade of experience in the performing and visual arts, I have developed a strong passion for creative work and have been actively involved in teaching and community participation. My skills in this field have allowed me to be adaptable and to bring positive energy into any situation. I am eager to learn from the knowledge and experience of my peers and am committed to maintaining a professional demeanor in all my artistic endeavors.
